Kayla Pollock C4-C5 Incomplete Quadriplegic

I woke up one morning paralyzed from the neck down after a severe adverse reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine. As a young single mom, my entire world collapsed overnight. I lost my independence, my career, my home, and nearly everything I had worked so hard to build. The reality of living with quadriplegia and constant pain was devastating, but I refused to stay silent.

My story quickly reached international attention, not only because of the suddenness of my injury but because I chose to fight back. I launched a $45 million lawsuit against Moderna and became a vocal advocate for those living with injuries and disabilities. I’ve spoken publicly with well known celebrities, appeared in the media, and worked to hold both government and corporations accountable for the promises they made to protect people like me.

One of the biggest breakthroughs for me has been activity-based physical therapy. It focuses on activating the nervous system below the level of injury, improving strength, circulation, and spasticity, while also reducing pain. For me, it’s more than therapy it’s a lifeline that helps me reclaim parts of my body and gives me hope.

Today, I continue my advocacy to ensure that injured and disabled people are not forgotten. I work alongside medical experts, speak on national and international platforms, and push for transparency, accountability, and systemic change. My fight is not just for myself, but for every person whose life has been forever altered and who deserves recognition, care, and justice.
