Here at Walk It Off, we specialize in Activity Based Therapy (ABT).
The focus our program is on stimulating a response in the paralyzed or weakened areas of the body. We use exercise interventions including core strengthening, gait training and high repetition, load bearing tasks. During sessions, your therapist will assist you through exercises facilitating motion in all parts of the body all while being out of your wheelchair.

Registered Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy is a clinically-oriented healthcare option that helps alleviate the discomfort associated with every day occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions. It is typically preformed directly over the skin or over clothing depending on benefit and preference.
Massage therapy can be used as a treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) work with a wide variety of patients in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation and disability.
Manual Osteopathy

It assists in restoring balance throughout the body systems (ie. digestive, lymphatic, nervous systems) and support the body to self-heal, regulate, and defend through soft tissue techniques, mobilizations, and balancing of body structures and systems.

Stretch-&-Move

Stretch-&-Move is a restorative, hands-on guided stretching and range-of-motion program with a Neuro-Recovery Trainer. As you lay on a table, we focus on areas of your body that may be restricted in motion or difficult to stretch independently. We have Upper Body, Lower Body and Whole Body movement programs tailored specifically for you. This program aims to help reduce pain, improve range of motion and flexibility, and help promote relaxation.
*Requirements: Must attend a 1hr assessment with a Registered Kinesiologist to create a tailored program just for you.
T.I.M.E Program
- $140
Together In Movement and Exercise is a small group class designed specifically for people who have mobility challenges. This class is perfect for people looking to improve their walking ability in the community.
